a 28,000 square foot three-story space on
Manhattan's West Side, MKDS Architects
provided them with planning solutions
that overcame the adjacency and display
problems at their existing store. The
entry-level floor now acts as the showcase
for the current retail season. Materials
for flooring, cabinetry, and walls on the
Home Furnishings second floor are
chosen to provide a residential context,
highlighting the quality and range of
product choices. Basic finishes are the
backdrop for the Hardware and
Housewares third floor, where custom
high density shelving reinforces
the store's slogan: Look no further.
