In what was originally an old school
building, this duplex, garden apartment
in Brooklyn has been remodeled into a
loft-like space. More views to the garden
have been created and the open spaces
are ideal for entertaining. An arched
doorway has been restored to open into
the garden and dining deck, expanding
the views and letting in more light.
The dark wood sculptural stair creates
a vertical room, integrates the two levels
and incorporates art work, seating and
bookshelves.
