When converting a lobby space
for the location of a new bank
in Stamford CT, MKDS Architects
used the lobby materials for
a contextual color palette. Warmer
oak with glass detailing is consistent
in the teller counters, check writing
and PR materials stands. A custom
metal raceway provides voice and
data at the window wall without
damaging the marble floors. To unify
the design solution, a logo and
its interpretation in stainless steel
and were introduced as well as
collateral printed materials.
