“Plants and You” is an interpretive
exhibit, designed for children
to provide an interactive, multi-media
look at the world of plants. The exhibit
is comprised of four display areas:
“Shelter,” “Food,” “Clothing,” and
“Feeling Good.” Highlights include
a walk-through tree, interactive displays
of plant parts, an operating cotton gin,
aromatic sniff holes with garden scents,
and medicine bottles that reveal the
plant sources of many common drugs.
