Originally part of a country club,
this stucco and Spanish tile service
building underwent two renovations by
MKDS Architects. In 1979, the existing
2nd floor employee living quarters were
developed into an apartment with views
of Green Point Harbor. The recent
renovation improved the living quality
of the house, incorporating the first floor
with expansive entertaining space and
a kitchen and breakfast room extension.
A second extension provides the missing
“front door” and re-orients the house to
the road. An oak staircase leads to the
Master bedroom suite, guest rooms,
fireplaces, a wet bar, and an extended
deck. Two outbuildings include
a boathouse and two-level studio.
